This complete 6-days/5 nights Journey takes you through Canada’s Majestic Rocky Mountains, including the Highwood Pass which is the highest paved road in Canada.  

You’ll visit beautiful Banff National Park and Lake Louise. Enjoy the rugged mountain views as you ride along the Icefields Parkway and explore the Athabasca Glacier. Take in the foothills, prairies and ranch lands on your ride to the Canadian Badlands, renowned for their canyons, hoodoos, dinosaurs, fossils and coal mining. Make some stops at the suggested authentic western saloons along the way.

Day 1: Arrive in Calgary

After arrival take the free shuttle to your hotel, check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Calgary is a Western Culture City, nicknamed “Cowtown for the many ranches, cowboys and theIr famous annual Stampede. Calgary has also as well a huge Oil & Gas Industry with Sky-scraper Offices throughout downtown. You’ll find the Calgary Tower downtown as well as the Glenbow Museum of Art & History and much more to explore.

Day 5: Canadian Badlands

Today will be your longest day in the saddle. On this day your tour takes you east through scenic roads with mountain views towards Rocky Mountain House that has a rich history as being a fur trading post for the Hudson Bay Company. Continue east through Red Deer and Stettler, then south where you’ll cross with a ferry and follow the Dinosaur Trail. Visit Horsethief Canyon and arrive at your evening destination in Drumheller, known as the Dinosaur Capital of the World.

Day 2: Highwood Pass – Canmore

Pickup your Pre-booked motorcycle (& additionals) and set out on a breathtaking adventure as you ride south to Bragg Creek, a motorcycle friendly community, known for their Western hospitality. From there you’ll continue south to Turner Valley, Black Diamond, and Longview where you will stop to visit an old Saloon. Then go northwest On the scenic Highwood Pass towards Canmore. Part of Kananaskis country, the pass is the highest paved road in Canada. Finish your day at your hotel in Canmore, a ski resort/sports town in the Bow Valley and set in the shadows of the Three Sisters mountains.

Day 6: Drumheller – Calgary

This is the last day of this tour suggestion and you can always extend before and after, just let us know at time of booking this trip and we’ll take care of it.

Today’s ride will take you out to the Hoodoos and Horseshoe Canyon. You will cross the 11 bridges road to visit another interesting old Saloon.  Options could be a visit to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology  and the Fossil World Dinosaur Discovery Center in Drumheller, and maybe the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site is of your interest.

Finish your day with a nice ride back to Calgary and drop off your motorcycle at the same Harley Davidson station. You can request an additional night here in Calgary after you’ve returned your motorcycle. Please make a request at time of booking. 

Day 3: Banff – Lake Louise

Continue your journey west as you ride towards Banff and Lake Louise. Banff National Park is the first, biggest and oldest National Park in Canada, located in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. Watch out for wildlife, big and small like bison, bears, elk (Wapiti), moose, wolves, cougars, coyotes, lynx, big horn sheep, mountain goats, foxes, raccoons, badgers and gophers, take a ride on a gondola and relax in the natural hot spring pool. Continue on the sweeping road as it winds through the mountains, with peaks all around you, towards Lake Louise, your destination for this night.

Day 4: Columbia Icefields

Leave the beautiful turquoise waters of Lake Louise behind you as you travel on the famous Icefield Parkway towards Jasper National Park. Take in the stunning surroundings and views of the mountains, lakes, glaciers and canyons as you ride through the sweeping curves. Sign up for an adventure tour by taking the Ice Truck up to the glacier where you can actually walk ove the Athabasca glacier. Your final destination for the evening is a boutique hotel that provides a spectacular view of that Athabasca glacier and some star gazing as well at night.
