We will travel through the Rockies in a large & luxury 54 seater bus with only 20 guests maximum. Almost everything is arranged for you so you only have to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride …. The expedition will lead us from prairies to foothills and through the Rocky Mountains into the Tundra's

Day 1: Friday, October 16, 2020 – Calgary, AB
Welcome to Calgary! Today our expedition starts here in Calgary, Alberta. After arrival at the Best
Western Premier Inn , you will be welcomed by your Tour Director Ria for check-in. There will be time to
refresh before we meet in the lobby to join the rest of our small group. Our welcome dinner is in the hotel.
The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 5: Tuesday, October 20, 2020 – Edmonton, AB – Kananaskis Village, AB
Time to make our way back to Calgary. We will visit the Badlands today and the Royal Tyrrell Museum
where the biggest collection of fossils and dinosaurs are to be found. This region is totally different from
the prairies and rockies that we’ve seen so far. From there we’ll continue our journey towards
Kananaskis, situated in the foothills between the prairies and the rockies. We’ll stay in Kananaskis village
for one night.

Day 9: Saturday, October 24, 2020 – Churchill, MB
Arctic crawlers, which are custom build tundra vehicles will take you into the polar bear and other wildlife
habitat , you’ll go on a cultural and heritage tour, and dog mushing, while hot chocolate, coffee and tea,
and fresh bannock with local berry jam will be served in a tent, and so much more to explore.

Day 2: Saturday, October 17, 2020 – Calgary, AB – Banff, AB
After breakfast we will meet our friendly driver with his luxury large coach. First destination is downtown
Calgary for a short city tour before we drive out of the city and prairies via the foothills into the Rockies
and into Banff National Park. We will check in at our accommodation for one night in Banff, which is a little
mountain town that carries the same name as the park because, this is where it all started!

Day 6: Wednesday, October 21, 2020 – Kananaskis, AB – Winnipeg, MB
After breakfast it’s time to make our way back to the airport in Calgary for our domestic flight to Winnipeg,
Manitoba. After arrival in Winnipeg we will transfer to our hotel where we have time to relax, enjoy dinner
and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 10: Sunday, October 25, 2020 – Churchill, MB – Winnipeg, MB
Time to say goodbye to our Lazy Bear friends and fly back to Manitoba. In the afternoon there is a visit
planned to the only Human Rights Museum in the world and the Forks which is a short walk from the
museum. We will check in at the hotel for one night.

Day 3: Sunday, October 18, 2020 – Banff, AB – Jasper, AB
After breakfast we’ll do some sightseeing and in and around Banff and Lake Louise before we take the
most scenic highway in the world according to UNESCO, the Icefield Parkway. There will be lakes, falls,
canyons, glaciers and mountains on our route that will ‘Wow” you all day while we make our way towards
Jasper National Park, with again a little mountain town with the same name which is Jasper, AB. We will
check in here for two nights.

Day 7: Thursday, October 22, 2020 – Winnipeg – Churchill, MB
In the morning we’ll drive back to the airport for our next flight to Churchill, MB to start our Ultimate Polar
Bear Adventure at Lazy Bear Lodge, where we’ll stay for 3 nights. Prepare to be wowed when spending
two full days on the tundra, tracking along the coastline in the touring-permit zone of the Churchill Wildlife
Management area.

Day 11: Monday, October 26, 2020 – Winnipeg, MB – Calgary, AB
After arriving in Calgary we will visit Calgary’s Heritage Park Historical Village where you can learn all
about the good old days. There’s plenty of time to stroll around. After dinner we’ll check in at the hotel for
our last night here in Calgary.

Day 4: Monday, October 19, 2020 – Jasper, AB – Edmonton, AB
Today our journey continues to Edmonton, the capital city of this province. We want to make sure that we
arrive at our hotel in Edmonton in the early afternoon because…. It is attached to the largest shopping
mall in North America. Yes, here you’ll have the opportunity today to shop until you drop!

Day 8: Friday, October 23, 2020 – Churchill, MB
Each day you’ll explore the amazing Hudson Bay coastline, observing the majestic Polar Bear up close
and personal with the guidance of a certified Naturalist. Look out for arctic fox and hare, camouflaged
ptarmigan and other wildlife.

Day 12: Tuesday, October 27, 2020
After breakfast it’s time to check out. This is the end of the tour. We hope you’ve enjoyed this wonderful
