Important details for your Canada Special Tours experience

This summary provides an overview of the key terms that apply when you book a tour with Canada Special Tours Inc. Full Terms and Conditions form part of your booking contract and are accepted at the time of reservation.

Tour Prices & Inclusions

Tour prices are guaranteed through the published travel season and are based on double occupancy. Prices generally include round-trip economy airfare from designated departure cities (when applicable), airline taxes and fees (subject to change until ticketed), internal transportation, accommodations, meals and sightseeing as specified, entrance fees, hotel taxes, luggage handling for one bag per person, and the services of a professional Tour Director. Airfare upgrades are available at additional cost and may change at any time.

Gratuities

Gratuities for local guides, drivers, dining staff, and porters are included on guided tours unless otherwise noted. Gratuities for Tour Directors, cruise personnel, and housekeeping staff are not included and remain discretionary.

Not Included

Tour prices do not include passport and visa fees, personal expenses, beverages, laundry, meals not listed, medical or immunization costs, optional excursions, travel protection insurance, airline baggage fees charged directly by carriers, or transfers for land-only packages unless specified.

Booking, Deposits & Final Payment

Your $650 deposit is required to confirm your reservation and is fully refundable up to 95 days prior to departure. Final payment is due by the stated final payment date. Canada Special Tours Inc. reserves the right to cancel unpaid bookings, at which point standard cancellation penalties may apply.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation penalties apply on a sliding scale based on the number of days prior to departure, up to 100% of the tour price. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a tour, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or denied entry due to missing or incorrect documentation. If Canada Special Tours Inc. cancels a tour due to low participation, all payments received will be fully refunded.

Refunds for cancellations are subject to the following per person charges (exceptions not allowed):

For all 2026 tours

Prior to departure charge

95 days or more: Full refund

94–65 days: 25% of tour price

64–45 days: 50% of tour price

44–30 days: 75% of tour price

29–0 days: No refund

Single Travelers

Single travelers are welcome. Single accommodations are limited and subject to a single supplement. Room sizes outside Canada may be smaller than those typically found in North America.

Changes to Reservations

Administrative and supplier fees may apply to changes made after booking. Many services become non-refundable after final payment. Name changes, departure date changes, and traveler substitutions are not permitted after final payment. No changes may be made within 30 days of departure.

Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, entry permits, and required immunizations for each destination. Passports must generally be valid for at least six months beyond the tour end date. Failure to obtain proper documentation may result in denied travel without refund.

Health, Safety & Accessibility

Travelers must be in good general health and able to participate independently in scheduled activities. Some itineraries may not accommodate wheelchairs or mobility devices. While dietary requests and medical needs are considered when possible, they cannot be guaranteed. Canada Special Tours Inc. reserves the right to remove a traveler whose conduct, health, or mobility compromises the safety or enjoyment of the group, without refund.

Travel involves inherent risks, including exposure to illness. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Travel Protection Insurance

Optional travel protection insurance is strongly recommended to protect against cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events. Coverage terms and eligibility conditions apply, please contact your travel insurance company for further details as Canada Special tours Inc. does not provide any form of insurance.

Air Transportation

Flight schedules, carriers, and routings are subject to change. Seat assignments are not guaranteed. Canada Special Tours Inc. acts as an agent for airlines and is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or missed connections. Travelers arranging their own flights should avoid non-refundable fares until final payment is due.

Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

Canada Special Tours Inc. does not own or operate airlines, hotels, transportation providers, or other suppliers, all of which are independent contractors. The company is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers or for events beyond its control, including weather, natural events, health risks, labour disruptions, or government actions. Canada Special Tours Inc. reserves the right to correct pricing errors, modify itineraries, substitute accommodations of equal or greater quality, or cancel tours when necessary.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province in which Canada Special Tours Inc. is registered, and applicable Canadian federal laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Canadian law.
